Lion’s Club Christmas Baskets

Staff and members of Allegis Credit Union donated gifts to give to the Paw Paw Lions Club for their Christmas baskets. The Lions Club contributed to 243 families which included 491 children with over 1,200 wrapped presents. Christmas baskets this year exceeded $60,000 given back to the community.

Hospice Tree of Honor & Remembrance

The Hospice tree was in downtown Paw Paw, near the amphitheater by the lake, but members of the community were invited into Allegis to purchase a red bow or a patriotic bow for a donation. They then wrote a name to honor or remember a loved one and it was hung on the tree. The names were published in the Courier Leader each week.

Paw Paw Days

Last year's annual Paw Paw Days was held on Friday and Saturday, July 18-19. Allegis Credit Union was a sponsor of the fourth annual Friday night dance and has been on the committee to plan the event since it began. Allegis staff also volunteered to help at the dance. We also sponsored a trophy for the Paw Paw Days Car show on Saturday.

American Cancer Society Relay for Life

The Van Buren County-East Relay for Life was June 27-28 at Lawrence High School. The staff of the Paw Paw office worked hard to raise money for their community's Relay. In total, the three Allegis Credit Union offices raised over $2,700!
